10,000 Kicks to Kindness

What if we could create a world where we spent our day thinking of ways we could show kindness to those around us? One of our goals at KICKCO is to inspire young athletes to go above and beyond to demonstrate kindness in their home, school, community, and world. We are committing to doing a combined 10,000 Acts of Kindness this year. Athletes start their journey to intentional kindness by simply taking some slips of paper home to record their efforts to 1) think of others, 2) initiate an act of kindness... without being asked and with getting paid! The journey continues when they return to the KICKCO training center to share their achievements with others and contribute to the goal. Finally at the end of the year, we have our Kindness Celebration Party where we recognize all the contributions our athletes did to make the world a better place.

Another project we endeavor to do is Empathy Training. We want our athletes to understand and celebrate diversity. To consider the uniqueness of everyone. As a testing requirement athletes must complete one activity to build empathy. (Some examples are: spending a day blind, deaf, or in a wheelchair). Our goal is to teach KICKCO kids and youth to appreciate, respect, and celebrate those who are different than them instead of shying away and avoiding.

Service Saturdays are our monthly benchmark for our Kicks of Kindness Campaign... as a team we go out and serve together in the Colorado Springs Community!

Martial Arts on a Mission - we partner with orphanages In Nairobi, Kenya to make the world a better place. Through bake sales, board break-a-thons and more we raise money to make life better for others outside our city and country!
